The University of Medicine and Pharmacy (UMPh) of Tirgu Mures is a public higher education institution with a history of over 70 years of medical education, among the top three medical universities from Romania and the only one with studies in other local languages (Hungarian line), besides international programmes in English. It currently functions with 3 Faculties: Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dental Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy with undergraduate, MA and PhD studies as well as residency and post-graduate medical studies.
