IO1 - Publication on Paediatrics Soft Skills Needs
Objectives of activities carried out:
Partners of Softisped project will create an evidence and research-based publication regarding the expectations of the target groups involved in pediatric health care and the recipients of these services, i.e.
a) pediatricians and physicians working with children/residents in pediatrics
b) pediatric patients
c) patients' parents/guardians
d) health care staff in the five countries involved in the project.
Opinions of 25 respondents/country in each group will be collected through questionnaires and interviews. Results will be analysed referring to their expectations. Outcomes will reflect on what will be the most important soft skills that have to be taught - basis for the development of the training package (IO2) and learnt - learning package (IO3).
Description of activities carried out:
Johanna Huber started to write the publication about the german health care and pediatric system and translated the questionnaires for children and parents into German. Concetta Perdichizzi translated the questionnaires for relatives and for health care staff into German and prepared a version, that can be read through machines
Concetta Perdichizzi translated the survey about the health care system and the research on softskills needs in paediatrics in German.
Our students together with a member of the technical stuff ditributed and collected the questionnaires. After that they evaluate the result. Johannna Huber wrote the essay about the statistical results. Concetta Perdichizzi translated the essay in German and the whole publication (Research on Softskills) in German.
Results Achieved:
A first draft of the publication about the german healtth care and pediatric system is written but has to be completed by the pediatritians.
4 questionnaires are transleted in German and can be read through machines
The survey abouth the health care system and the research on softskills needs in paediatrics except for the parts about Germany are translated in German.
