Description of Dissemination Event:
Information about the aims of the SoftisPed Project were sent via e-mail and also directly to: Prof. Suciu Horatiu, PhD who is Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery for Adults and Children from Tirgu Mures, Romania - the top Clinic that operates congenital heart diseases on neonates and children in Romania. The Clinic has a special OR and ICU for Children and softs skills are a key to postoperative treatment and successful outcomes. Prof. Suciu was eager to be kept updated about further developments of the project and to see how the final results could be transferred to his staff. Dr. Stroe Valentin, specialist in cardiovascular surgery and second hand operator with Prof. Suciu accepted to participate in future dissemination meetings of the project and volunteered to play the guitar for sick children, as part of the project's strategy of offering entertainment activities to hospitalized children.
Outcomes and Results:
Two experts in cardiovascular surgery who are involved in the treatment of children will participate in the project activities. They are both teachers working with 3rd year students of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy and will disseminate the project to their students.
One person will contribute to the volunteering activities that will be organized in the future as part of the project strategy.
